Prof. Anette Scholz,
"Sensescapes" is an interactive 360 degree room installation at the Grassi Museum for Applied Arts in Leipzig. Thanks to “schnellebuntebilder” we had access to a complex media system with 8 projectors, 4 infrared cameras and 5 high-performance PCs to track visitors inside the room. Our goal was to create a crowd puller for a 12 to 25 year old target group. The visitors are able to influence the room itself by moving around and changing their position. We developed a room concept that literally throws the visitor out of balance and creates the illusion of tilting the room by the influence of people’s movement.
